Things you might or might not know about us.

• Tom was born in the Republic of Panama to an American father and a Panamanian mother. He learned to speak Spanish first, then learned English. He is still bilingual.
• Hope was born in Newfoundland, CA (her father was a pilot in the Air Force stationed there) but was raised in southern California.
• Hope spent 7 years in the U.S. Air Force.
• Tom originally planned to be a professor of Medieval Studies, but stopped the academic career track after getting his MA at Binghamton University. He was distracted by this little thing called the Web.
• Hope and Tom are celebrating 15 years as a married couple in 2008.
• They have two dogs: Marlowe the Yorkie and Kafka the Husky-something mutt.
